I know what it feels like to carry the weight of big goals without knowing if you'll actually get there.
After 20 years in corporate finance and operations, I watched successful businesses leave money on the table. Not because the owners weren't smart or hardworking, but because no one ever showed them where to look.
That's why I left corporate and started Denali Edge Consulting. My heart is with the small and mid-sized business owners whose profit literally feeds their families. The ones who are skilled at their craft but frustrated that revenue doesn't translate to take-home profit.
I'm based in Willow, Alaska, where I can see Denali from my home. That mountain represents clarity to me. Some days she's covered in fog. Some days she's crystal clear. Your business is the same. Sometimes the profit is there, but you can't see it through the fog.
My role is to pull you out of that fog and show you the mountain clearly.

But here's what that resume doesn't tell you: I almost didn't make it out.
The burnout got so bad that my doctor looked me in the eyes and said, "If you keep doing this, you'll have a heart attack or stroke. I give you permission to quit."
That moment changed everything.
I realized I wasn't going to sacrifice my health and family for another paycheck. My family mattered more than any job title.
When I looked at my whole career, one pattern was obvious: I've always been the one hunting for hidden profit. Where are we losing money? Where are the leaks? Where can we keep more without working harder?
That became the heartbeat of Denali Edge Consulting.
I've spoken for organizations like the Accounting & Finance Women's Alliance (AFWA), but honestly, my favorite work happens at the kitchen table. Not literally, but that's the energy I bring. Direct. Warm. No BS.
Corporations don't need me. They have resources to burn.
